WHAT MOTIVATED THE MILLER’S TO START DISCOVER MY BAHAMAS?
Tim and his wife Michelle started to visit Grand Bahama Island due to its beauty and proximity to the U.S. What kept them on the Island was the culture and amazing people. Tim and Michelle founded Discover My Bahamas with a mission to bring more visitors to the island to experience the incredible people, activities, and culture. The couple noticed early on that visitors would often come to the island and were not aware of the numerous experiences Grand Bahama has to offer. Due to its beauty and vast opportunities for unique experiences, Grand Bahama should not be a ‘one size fits all’ experience. Each guest can create a lifelong memory that is personal and specific to their likes and passions. A major goals is to start a community of both local Bahamian citizens and tourist visiting the island. Along with running Discover My Bahamas, Tim is an international award-winning motivational Hypnotist and founder of Hypnotizing America www.HYPNOTIZINGAMERICA.com . Hypnotizing America has sold out audiences at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood, CA, awarded BEST SHOW by national booking sites, awarded BEST SHOW at numerous college activities conventions, and been asked to speak at top 5 U.S. corporations, government agencies and major athletic programs. Tim loves being an entrepreneur and credits his success to his experiences as a Division 1 Head Football Coach and founder of a Top 25 RE/MAX Real Estate team in PA/DE/NJ. The Millers are passionate about giving back to the island and work to promote both the Humane Society on the Island, along with the Christian Youth Movement on the West End of Grand Bahama. Tim is a Florida resident but calls the West End of Grand Bahama home. Tim and his partner/wife Michelle of over 30 years have 3 adult kids, Autumn, Ryan, and Tim, along with 2 granddaughters, Elani and Emi.
MICHELLE MILLER – CO-FOUNDER
Michelle, along with her husband of over 30 years Tim, is the co-founder of Discover My Bahamas. Her responsibility with the company includes day-to-day operations with a focus on guest/vendor relations. Michelle loves being a member of Grand Bahama Island and has a goal to have every visitor experience what caused her to fall in the love with the island, culture, and the Bahamian people. Michelle is a Florida resident but calls the island home. Along with her responsibilities with Discover My Bahamas, Michelle works with Tim and dog Panda on tour with their award-winning Hypnotizing America speaking platform and performances. Tim and Michelle have 3 adult children, Autumn, Ryan and Tim, along with 2 granddaughters, Elani and Emi.
