This tour has it all.  Excitement of snorkeling at the one and only Paradise Cove (say hi to the turtles for us) THEN experience West End, the Capital of Grand Bahama Island.  Before now, West End was usually visited by the rich and famous.  Come see why Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Beyonce & Jay Z, Michael Jordan, Mariah Carey, Tony Romo, John Travolta (owned a home in West End) and many others chose West End to vacation.  Plus, receive a local and cultural experience unlike any other.  West End, also known as Old Bahamas, is where Bahamian citizens travel to vacation.  This small fishing village is full of AMAZING PEOPLE.  The West End community is what inspired this Discover My Bahamas website.  When entering this community you will feel as if you stepped back in time when people valued the simpler things in life.  Be careful, though, when booking this tour.  Once you experience the people of West End you won’t want to leave.

9:15 PICK UP AT PORT BY PARADISE COVE TRANSPORTATION

Enjoy the drive toward West End as you travel through several settlements

Have fun snorkeling at Paradise Cove

Approximately 11:45am your driver, Mikey will pick you up

11:45 to 2pm (times are estimated) Enjoy the islands capital... WEST END

2:30pm Arrive back at Paradise Cove for your ride back to the ship

The staff was friendly

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful! We got to see turtles and a multitude of fish & coral! We also tried conch for the 1st time. Highly recommend this excursion- we didn’t have the full day pass but it includes other water sport activities as well.

This excursion was great!

Every part of this excursion was great! The pick up from the was port was easy. Once we arrived at Paradise Cove the check in was easy and fast. The snorkeling was amazing.

I would definitely go back

We loved the snorkeling. We say lots of pretty fish, large turtles, and cool shells. The food was basic but good. I would definitely go back.
